Pitcher's Duel Water Baseball

Swimming pool water baseball that's fun and challenging for all ages. Pitcher's Duel Water Baseball turns your in-ground or above-ground pool with a deck into a water baseball stadium. Pitchers throw regulation sized, waterproof wiffle balls into four target holes to score points. Strikes pitched into the holes are caught by the oversized catcher's mitt and returned into the water towards the pitcher. Balls pitched near the strike zone are also blocked by the big mitt so no one has to get out of the pool to chase the ball.

The durable baseball mitt is based on the precise specifications of a regulation Major League Baseball catcher's mitt and engineered to place the center of gravity where it provides maximum stability and safety. The baseball mitt is set into a rugged plastic base that fills with water or sand for extra stability. Both the mitt and base are rotationally molded of 100% polyethylene to withstand rain, snow, chlorine and sunlight for years. The rugged, all-plastic design has no metal parts to rust, it assembles in a few minutes and can stay outside year-round. Or drain the water from the base and store it seasonally.

The base is also interchangeable and accommodates the Rock the House Water Basketball game. Switch from one game to the other in minutes.

Gameplay

Any number of players can participate. In each inning, each team pitches until recording three outs. When the ball is pitched and does not land in a hole in the mitt, an out is recorded. When the ball lands in a hole, the number of points marked on the mitt is scored. After three outs, the next player takes his or her turn. A regulation game includes nine innings. The player with the highest total score after nine innings wins.

The difficulty level may be increased or decreased for any age player by pitching from farther or closer to the baseball mitt or by throwing while treading water or sitting on a float.
