INNOVATIVE PLASTICS MOLDER UNVEILS SWIMMING POOL DECK MOUNT KITS TO PERMIT QUICK CHANGE FROM POOL BASKETBALL TO VOLLEYBALL AND EXPAND DECK SPACE

Saddle Brook, NJ: Innovative plastics molder Meese Orbitron Dunne Co. (MOD) has unveiled deck mount kits that create permanent, poolside installations to accommodate its POOL SHOT PRODUCTS division's Wing-It basketball and Spike-n-Splash water volleyball games. Permitting the quick and easy changeover from basketball to volleyball, the new Pool Shot deck mount kits feature a durable, plastic (LLDPE) sleeve, 2-3/8" diameter aluminum pole, dowel and cap.

Set into concrete decking, the sleeve enables pool owners to save deck space by eliminating the need for large, heavyweight bases to stabilize the basketball backboard and/or volleyball net. Similarly, the deck mount kits enable pool owners to easily fit both water basketball and volleyball games onto their pools despite restrictive fence regulations, screened-in pools and tightly sized backyards.

The sleeves may be capped for safety during winter or when the pool games are not in use.

The new deck mount kits are offered through pool supply stores, retailers and contractors as individual systems and with either the Wing-It basketball, the Spike-n-Splash water volleyball or with both games in a single package. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is $249.00 for the kit with one game and $399.00 for the kit with both games.

The deck mount kits may be built into new pools or retrofit into existing concrete decking.
